Please allow approximately 3 weeks for your order to be fulfilled. We appreciate your patience, as the bottles are all handmade!

A 21+ or older adult must provide a signature at the time of delivery. UPS will attempt delivery three times. If no one is there to sign for the bottle at delivery, UPS will return it to the store. If you want us to send it back to you, we will charge a $25 reshipment fee. You can change your delivery with UPS after they leave the door tag on the first attempt.

-------—

Sergeant Chris Jenkins was struck and killed by a tractor-trailer while attempting to move a ladder from I-75 near mile marker 74.

The ladder had fallen off the back of a utility truck and had created a traffic hazard on the interstate. Sergeant Jenkins had brought traffic to a stop with a rolling roadblock and then exited his vehicle to remove the ladder. An oncoming tractor-trailer was unable to stop and struck Sergeant Jenkins, his cruiser, and several other vehicles.

The vehicle that dropped the ladder never stopped. The driver of the truck that struck him was charged with vehicular homicide by intoxication, vehicular homicide by recklessness, two counts of reckless endangerment, DUI, simple possession of narcotics, possession of a handgun under the influence, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sergeant Jenkins was a United States Air Force veteran and had served with the Loudon County Sheriff's Office for 20 years. He is survived by his son, daughter, mom, fiancee, fiancee's two daughters, sister, brother-in-law, and two nephews. His son also serves as a deputy with the agency.

Sergeant Jenkins was a first cousin of Deputy Sheriff Jason Scott, who was shot and killed in the line of duty on March 12th, 2004, while also serving with the Loudon County Sheriff's Office.

----------

Honor Bound Spirits in San Diego, California, creates this commemorative bottle. The company is marine-owned and a friend to all first responders. The bottle is superior to other engravings. It is sandblasted, not just etched, and pays true honor to every fallen first responder it is created for.

The whiskey is first aged in new 53-gallon, medium-charred American oak barrels for up to 8 years. Then, it is rested in-barrel with Chilean Amburana oak staves.  It creates a uniquely sweet, yet spicy bourbon whiskey. It has hints of gingerbread and fresh vanilla on the nose. There is a pronounced sweetness on the palate. It shows touches of oak, spice cake, nutmeg, and light brown sugar.

The bottles can be shipped across the United States except for the restricted states of Alaska, Massachusetts, Michigan, South Dakota, Tennessee, and Utah.
